Gail (Harris) Passmore

            Mrs. Gail Harris Passmore, age 60, of Lona Daniels Loop, Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home.

            Gail was born February 23, 1960 in Iredell County, the daughter of the late Fred Harris, Sr. and Louise Summers Harris Chapman.

            She had worked in the furniture industry most of her life and was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She loved the beach and her flowers, but most of all her family especially her grandchildren.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Rhonda Wooten; two brothers, Fred Harris, Jr. and Allen Harris.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her husband of 25 years, Oliver Passmore of the home; three daughters, Deidra Johnson and husband, Chris of Taylorsville, Jessica Mitchell and husband, Mike, of Hiddenite, Amy Ballard and husband, C.J., of Moravian Falls; her son, Eugene Passmore of Moravian Falls; nine grandchildren, Olivia, Tanisa, Jacob, Annalee, Kaden, Nevaeh, Colton, Braylee and Ansley; a great-grandchild, Raelynn; a sister, Dawn Fox and husband, Jeff, of the Ellendale Community; two brothers, Phillip Harris and Timmy Harris both of Hiddenite; very special friends, Rick and Marlene Earp; and a number of nieces and nephews.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Revs. Steve Parks, Robert Gragg and Dale Gibson will officiate.    

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
