Gene Alan Kilby

Mr. Gene” Alan” Kilby, 63, of Purlear, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Wilkes Medical Center. 

Alan was born on May 24, 1957 in Wilkes County to Minnie Faye Byrd.

Alan is preceded in death by his mother and grandmother, Elle Mae Kilby.

Alan is survived by his wife, Sharon Kilby; daughters, LaRaye Wyatt (David), Taylor Faye Shell, Amanda Kilby; sons, Adam Lee Gregory, Matthew Kilby; brother, Robert Kilby and 15 grandchildren, all live in North Wilkesboro. 

The family will conduct a drive thru Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Roaring River Baptist Church from 2-4 p.m.
