Mrs. Georgia Ruth Hatley Rich, 83, of Blowing Rock passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Georgia was born on June 22, 1937 in Watauga to Orville Hatley and Zudie Coffey Hatley
Georgia is preceded in death by her parent; husband, Calvin Thomas Rich; son, Alvin Rich, daughter Jenny Kirby and 13 brothers and sisters and son in law Gary Carl Fox.
Georgia was a member of Boones Fork Baptist Church.
Georgia is survived by her son, James Rich of Blowing Rock; daughters, Carol Stanton (Dennis) Lenoir, Melissa Fox of Banner Elk, Connie Anderson (Derrick) of Purlear, Floretta Rich and Companion Tom Hollar of Valle Cruses ; sisters, Bonnie Rich, Mable Bristol, 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and son in law Alan Kirby
A grave side service will be held Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. in White Springs Cemetery in Blowing Rock.
