Georgie Daniels

            Mrs. Georgie Daniels, age 85, of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

            Georgie was born July 1, 1935 in Iredell County, the daughter of the late Paul Moose and Vernie Pierce Moose.

            She was a homemaker and a member of Tri-City Baptist Church. She loved working in the yard, and especially planting flowers.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Helen Wike.

            Those left to cherish and honor Georgie’s memory include: her husband of 60 years, Gene Daniels; two sons, Rick Daniels (Kathy) of Taylorsville, Michael Todd Daniels and fiancé, Debra; grandsons, TJ Daniels and Casey Daniels and fiancé, Mandy Harmon; great-grandchild, Ella Daniels; sisters, Maxine West, Geraldine Sharpe both of Statesville; sisters-in-law, Janie Keller (Arthur), Ellen Morgan (Larry).

            The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Revs. Tony Daniels and Hampton Drum will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery in Stony Point.

            The body will lie-in-state from 9 a.m. until Noon, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home.
