Gordon Ray Brewer

Mr. Gordon Ray Brewer, 69, of North Wilkesboro passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. 

Gordon was born on January 5, 1956 in Douglas County, Illinois to Arnold Dwight Brewer and Mary Viola Johnson Brewer.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenda Darlene Brewer; sons, Haskel Cleek, Steve Meade; brothers, Roger Brewer, Rick Brewer, Frank Brewer.

Gordon is survived by his daughters, Mary Urick and husband, Michael Blackburn of Millers Creek, Stephanie Cardwell and husband, Logan of Wilkesboro, Delta Miller and husband, Kenny of Millers Creek, Janey Berk and husband, Phillip of Millers Creek, Amy Kremitzki and husband, Matt of Illinois ; sons, Mark Meade and wife, Brenda of Tennessee, Brian Meade and wife, Nettie of McGrady; sister, Vickie Anderson and husband, Sam of Illinois; brother, Ronnie B. Brewer and wife, Linda of Illinois; 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

The family will conduct a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
