Jamie Stine

            Jamie Stine (Carolina Kid), age 57, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

            Jamie was born July 31, 1963 in Catawba County, the son of Connie G. Stine and Patricia Smith Stine.

            He was a truck driver who was employed with Hickory Springs. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed cooking, eating, tending to the animals and was an Atlanta Braves fan. Jamie enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his children dearly and was his mommas’ boy and enjoyed telling jokes to his daddy.

            Including his parents, those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his daughter, Jacie Madison Stine of Tennessee; his son, Jayden Todd Stine (Bell) of Tennessee; his sister, Jill Stine Teague (Brian) of Taylorsville; his brothers, Joey D. Stine (Kimberly Walker), Jeffrey L. Stine (Tiffany) all of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

            The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home.

            The family will have a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
