Jeffrey Adams

            Jeffrey Adams, age 64, of Hiddenite, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home.

            Jeff was born September 12, 1960, in Iredell County, the son of Geraldine Pharr Adams and the late Walter Jackson Adams.

            Jeff worked at Vesco for 20 years as a mechanic for most of his working career. He was a man that was dedicated to his job and family.

            Including his mother, those left to cherish and honor Jeffrey’s memories include: the love of his life for 45 years, Myra Bowman; his sisters, Sherry Meadows (Terry) of Taylorsville, Donna Smith of Stony Point; his brother, Danny Adams (Teresa) of Stony Point; his nieces, Tia Andras, Tasha Price, Kellie Haithcox, Julie Adams; his nephews, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, Cooper Smith; and a number of great-nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mark Reavill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Iredell County.

             Pallbearers include: Robert McLain, Bobby McLain, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, Cooper Smith, Monte Rogers, Scott Mecimore, and Ethan Rogers.
