Jeffrey Lynn Rockette

            Jeffrey Lynn Rockette, age 61, of Conover, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

            Jeffrey was born June 18, 1964, in Catawba County, the son of the late Everette Obie Rockette and Annie Bryant Rockette.

            When his health permitted, he was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing them up and selling them. He enjoyed his dogs, going fishing, and spending time helping his son, Justin.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Randy Everette Rockette and Michael Troy Rockette.

            Those left to cherish and honor Jeffrey’s memories include: his son, Justin Rockette of Conover; his sisters, Barbara Shukis of Lenoir, Debbie Hoover (Tony) of Claremont, Alice Rockette of Lenoir; his brothers, Dennis Rockette and Everette Rockette, Jr. both of Claremont; and many other family members and friends.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Larry Whetstine will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery in Conover.
