Jerry Lee Carrigan, age 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Jerry was born March 29, 1950, in Caldwell County, the son of the late Glenn David Carrigan and Faye Kerley Carrigan.
He was a United States Army veteran and worked for Comm-Scope as a truck driver.
He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching football, and going racing with his son and grandson, his horses and riding his four wheeler and tractor.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Danny Ray Carrigan.
Those left to honor and cherish his memories include: his daughter, Vanessa Carrigan Harris; his son, Nick David Carrigan; grandchildren; Abbey Ansel (Alex), Bailey Harris (Jake Watson), Chloe Hefner (Hayden), Matthew Carrigan (Cassidy), Katie Carrigan; great-grandchildren, Blakely Carrigan, Lottie Watson, and Ryder Hefner; special friends, Jeannie and Julia Godfrey.
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2024 in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Todd Simerly will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
