Obituary
Mr. Jerry Wayne Holcomb Sr.,63, of Jonesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Jerry was born on March 23, 1959 in Kanawha County, West Virginia to Rudy Abshire Sr. and Bethel Johnson Abshire and adopted by Albert Henry Holcomb and Jessie Pearl Stewart Holcomb.
Jerry is preceded in death by his birth parents and adoptive parents.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nancy Lucille Holcombe; son, J.W. and David of Forsyth; step-son, Columbus of Wilkes; sister, Gail Johnson (Arthur) of Indiana; brother, Rudy Abshire Jr. (Debbie) of Kernersville; 3 grandchildren; special friend, Sam Dixon of Yadkinville; special sister-in-law, Linda Childress of Surry.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes, P.O. Box 396 Moravian Falls, NC 28654 to help with final expenses.
