Jerry Wayne Pearson

            Mr. Jerry Wayne Pearson, age 67, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 20, 2020 at his home.

            Jerry was born December 28, 1952 in Alexander County, the son of the late Romie Spencer Pearson and Alba Elizabeth Johnson Pearson.

            He had worked in the furniture industry and was of the Christian faith. He loved his family especially his two grandchildren. He was a very kind and gentle person. He loved Western’s and the Andy Griffith Show.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Lonnie Pearson; a brother-in-law, Tommy Smith.

            Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his daughter, Debra Pearson Passmore of High Point; two grandchildren, Kirstyn Lallie Passmore of Lexington, Dustin Joseph Passmore of Thomasville; a great-grandchild, Joseph Passmore of Thomasville; a brother, Jimmy Pearson and wife, Barbara, of Hiddenite; three sisters, Rose Crouch and husband, Billy, of Hiddenite, Darlene Brucke and husband, Calvin, of Conover, Betty Smith of Hiddenite, sister-in-law, Bernice Pearson of Taylorsville;  a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
