Jessica (Munday) Hinkle

Jessica Munday Hinkle, age 45, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House.

Jessica was born November 26, 1980, in Iredell County, the daughter of Karen Sue Shoemaker and the late Ronald Lee Munday.

She was of the Baptist faith. She had a special affection for her dog, Calliou. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and watching documentaries. Above all, she cherished and loved her family.

Including her father she was preceded in death by: a brother, Ronald Lee Munday Jr.

Including her mother, those left to honor and cherish her memory include: her daughter, Rachel Addison Walker (Tyler Walker); her sons, James Gabriel Munday, Adam Carl Hinkle Jr. (Kensley Marlowe); those who were like her children, Abigail Kristina Benge, Ashton Wyatt and Little Silas; her sisters, Janna Leigh Munday, Karileigh Munday; her brothers, Joseph Aaron Munday (Jennifer Munday), James Matthew Munday; her nephews, Joe Munday, Wyatt Munday, James Munday; her niece, Jensyn Munday; her uncle, Rufus Rex Shoemaker; and a number of loved ones.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
