Jewell Lee (Maltba) Jennings (Wilkes Location)

Jewell Lee Maltba Jennings, 79, of Old NC 268, Wilkesboro, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at her home.  She was born August 2, 1930 in Watauga County to Rom Linney and Ethel Spencer Maltba.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and four brothers.

Survivors include: her husband, Clarence Jennings of the home; one daughter, Kathy Treadway and husband Arthur of Wilkesboro; one son, Ricky Clarence Jennings and wife Sarah of Wilkesboro; four sisters, Ruby Maute of Virginia Beach, VA, Jacklyn Brown of McGrady, Virginia Dotson of Granite Falls, Linda Lovette of Millers Creek; four brothers, Jerry Maltba of Millers Creek, Dan Maltba of Sanford, Glenn Maltba of Taylorsville, Floyd Maltba of Laurel Springs; one grandson, Jody Lee Treadway.

Graveside services will be 11:00 o’clock Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Siceloff officiating.
