Jimmie Lee Scott

Jimmie Lee Scott, age 67, of Taylorsville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at his home.

Jimmie was born March 11, 1955, the son of the late Odell Wellman and Daisy Bell Scott Dula.

Jimmie was a self-employed timber cutter and that is where he spent most of his working career. He enjoyed arts, crafting, music and dancing. He loved his family and was of the Baptist faith.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by; a brother, Earnest Scott.

            Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his sons, Tyrone Speller (Dana), and Tim Speller of Troutman; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sabrina Gill of Winston Salem; brothers, Xavier Gibbs (Darlene) of Taylorsville, Joel Gibbs (Angela) of Statesville; uncles, Melvin Scott and Robert Scott; aunts, Doretha Scott and Marjorie Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.
