Joann (Jenkins) Creech

Joann Jenkins Creech, age 73, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

She was born June 6, 1947 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of the late Rev. James Robert Jenkins and Mable Lorene Hunt Jenkins.

Joann had worked in the textile industry. She was a member of North Wilkesboro Church of God for over 35 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, baking cakes and gardening.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers, Jimmy David Jenkins, James Robert Jenkins, Jr. and sister, Julie Marie Wyatt.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her husband of 54 years, whom she married on October 22, 1967, Franklin Creech of the home; son, Jimmy David Creech and wife, Teresa, of Wilkesboro; brother, Joseph Alan Jenkins of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kathryn Renee Ellis of Millers Creek, Jonathan David Creech of North Wilkesboro; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Thomas Ellis of Millers Creek, Karleigh Mae Creech of North Wilkesboro, Adalynn Lorrae Deskins of Cricket.

The family will conduct a private service at a later date.
