Mr. Jose Antonio Varela, 56, of Moravian Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Jose was born on May 1, 1964 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico to Medardo Varela and Dolores Maneiro Varela.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, George and Victor Varela.

Jose is survived by his partner, Rebecca Foster, sons, Jose Varela Jr, Joshua Varela; siblings, Jose E, Felix, Luz M, Alfredo Varela; Angel, Peggy, Teresa, Crucita Varela; grandchildren, Sophia and Sebastian Varela; step children, Ashley Vickers, Devin Martinez;

The family will conduct a private service at a later date.
