Joseph Michael Nichols

Mr. Joseph Michael “Mikey” Nichols, 31, of North Wilkesboro passed away on April 19, 2025.

Michael was born on November 09, 1993 in Wilkes County to Billy Joe Nichols and Joann Cook Wilson.

He loved spending time outdoors but especially spending time in the mountains.  Michael also had a talent for sketching and drawing pictures, as well as a love for fishing.

Michael is survived by his son, Jettlin Nichols of Denton; mother, Joann Wilson and husband, William of Lexington; father, Billy Nichols and girlfriend, Beth Brown of Wilkesboro; sister, Emily Owen and husband, Jon of Denton; brother, Christopher Nichols of Lexington; two nieces and a nephew all of Denton; one aunt and two uncles all of Wilkesboro. 

A private service was held Sunday, May 4, 2025, were he was laid to rest at Scenic Memorial Gardens.
