Joseph Dwayne Seamone

Joseph Dwayne Seamone, age 58, of Statesville, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

He was born June 11, 1967, in Cabarrus County, the son of Tom Seamone and the late Betty Griffin Seamone.

Including his father, those left to cherish and honor his memories include: his daughters, Jessica Seamone, Chelsea Seamone both of Hiddenite; his sister, Stacey Seamone Cothren (Joey) of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He worked for Statesville Brick Company for several years and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building model rockets, and NASCAR racing. He loved all animals especially his cat “Fred”.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Pastor Eddie Jolly will officiate.
