Judith Jay Cagle

            Judith Jay Cagle, age 72, of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

            Judith was born April 5, 1953, in Salem County, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Thomas Jay and Tessie Cagle.

            Judith worked as a sander for Century Furniture and was a member of Hiddenite Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a step-sister, Sharon Carll.

            Those left to cherish and honor Judith’s memories include: her brother, William Cagle (Mary); step-siblings, Kenneth Carll (Teresa), Carol Dempsey (James), Betty Phelps, Tessie Killian, Connie Crawford; and a number of other family members and friends.

            The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Travis Yoder will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hiddenite Cemetery.

            The body will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service.
