Karen Harding Tyler

Karen Harding Tyler, age 70, of Hiddenite, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at her home.

            Karen was born September 27, 1954, in New Castle County, Delaware, the daughter of the late Roy Harding and Jackie Scott Harding.

            Karen made her career in nursing but also had her real estate license all while being a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Statesville. She was an avid arts and crafts person. She enjoyed reading and playing word games.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dottie and sister-in-law, Dianne.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband, Thomas “Tom” Tyler; her daughters, Amy, Lisa, Arianna; her sons, B.J., Jack, Sam, Evan, Nathaniel, Bryce; her sisters, Terri, Debbie; her brothers, Tom, David, Roy, Richard; and brothers-in-law, David and Joe.

           The family will conduct a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Concord Presbyterian Church in Statesville, NC.
