Katherine Lorraine (Davis) Allen

            Katherine Davis Allen, age 81, of Hiddenite, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at her home.

            Katherine was born May 4, 1943, in Alexander County, the daughter of the late Nathan Davis and Rosalie Brown Davis.

            Katherine was a shipping clerk at Rock Tenn for 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Lee Allen.

            Those left to cherish and honor Katherine’s memories include:  her son, Shannon Allen of Kenansville, FL; her daughter, Vonda DeCoteau (Thomas) of Hiddenite; her grandchildren, Shea Katherine Warren (Tyler) of Hickory, Cameron John DeCoteau, Brittany Nicole DeCoteau both of Hiddenite; her brothers, Larry Davis (Vivian), David Davis (Jane) all of Taylorsville; her sister, Rose Ann Fortune (Kenneth) of Taylorsville.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Carson will officiate.
