Katheryn Marie Shanley

                Katheryn Marie Shanley, age 58, of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1965 in Arcade, N.Y. the daughter of the late Howard Shanley and Joan Leaver.

                She was of the Christian Faith. Katheryn loved her daughter, she loved to go and spend time with her. Her family was the most important thing to her.

                Including her parents she was preceded in death by: a sister, Peggy Duncan; and a brother, Kevin Shanley.

                Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her daughter, Savannah Shanley of Winston Salem, formally of the Bethlehem community; her brother, David Shanley of Florida; her niece, Stacy Shanley; her nephews, Eric Shanley, and Adam Duncan.
