Mrs. Kathy Ann Blevins, 52, of Jefferson passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.

Kathy was born on December 13, 1968 in Caldwell County to John Thurston Barnes and Latrica Dale Coker

Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, Latrica Dale Coker, and brother, John “JD” Barnes.

Kathy is survived by father, John Thurston Barnes and step mother, Deborah Choplin; 2 children; daughter, Wendy Blevins of West Jefferson; son, Jonathan Jarvis of Ferguson; sister, Nancy Jones and husband, Jeff of Waxhaw; brother, Jeremiah Barnes and wife, Teresa of Concord, 4 grandchildren, Lauren Jarvis, Trenton, Zaiden and Decklan Blevins.

The family will conduct a graveside memorial service on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
