Miss Kaylin Acosta, age 17, of Grain Drive, Stony Point, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
Kaylin was born January 17, 2002 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Jacobo Ezequiel Acosta, Jr. and Jennifer Marie Boring.
She was a student at Mitchell Community College and worked at Jimmy Johns. She had a true love for animals and enjoyed collecting rocks and listening to music. Everyday she had to have her Starbucks coffee.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her uncle, Mike and aunt, Khristy Boring with whom she resided of Stony Point; siblings, Gabriella Acosta, Jacobo Acosta III, Mikayle Miller all of the home, Matthew Miller of Stony Point; her best friend and high school sweetheart, Sam Abbas of Charlotte; numerous family members and friends also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a local Humane Society or Animal Shelter.
