Keith Franklin Church

            Mr. Keith Franklin Church, age 63, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home.

            Keith was born December 27, 1957 in Alexander County, the son of the late Homer Church and Irene Oliver Church.

            He worked in the furniture industry and also worked on the family farm, when his health permitted. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and mining for gems. He loved spending time with his family.

            Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife of 11 years, Rebecca “Becky” Church of the home; his daughter, Aleshia Shivers (Matthew) of Lenoir; his son, Tyler Church of VA; his step-children, Jessica, Mark, Andrea; his grandchildren, Victoria Church, Jordon Oaks, Carrie, Hunter, and Caleb Shivers, Joseph Church; his great-grandchild, Jackson; his sister, Joan Brown (Jeff) of Taylorsville; his brother, Larry Church (Penny) of Taylorsville; special four-legged children, Blue and Champ; several nieces, cousins and many other extended family.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Smith will officiate.
