Lacie Mae Teague, age 91, of Willie McLeod Road, Taylorsville, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Lacie was born April 8, 1929 in Alexander County, the daughter of the late William Teague and Bessie Poole Teague.
She had retired from Clayton Marcus Furniture and was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was an usher for many years. She always enjoyed attending church from her childhood. Lacie enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was a very loving and caring mother and loved her nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: 10 siblings.
Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her daughter, Martha Teague and fiancé, Harvey Lackey, of Taylorsville; her sister, Gracie Mae Howell of Taylorsville; very special friend, James Davis of Taylorsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Home-Going Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Ardeal Roseboro will officiate.
The body will lie-in-state from 2-5 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
