Lana Renee Cornett

            Lana Renee Cornett, age 54, of Olin, NC, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

            Lana was born March 5, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Fred Barnett and Wanda Hampton Barnett.

            Lana had worked as a 911 Operator in Ervin County, Tennessee. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, and flea markets.

            Including her parents, those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband, Derrick “Duck” Cornett of the home; his daughter, Chelsea English (Zach) of TN; her sons, Jordan Hahn, Logan Hahn both of TN; her sister, Paula of TN; and two grandchildren; and best friend, Jackie.
