Larry Joe Robinson

Larry Joe Robinson, age 77, of Moravian Falls, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. 

He was born on February 22, 1947, in Wilkes County, the son of the late Clifford Hayes Robinson and Hazel Rebecca Soots Robinson.

He enjoyed farming, crossword puzzles and spending time with his dog, Rex.  Larry loved traveling, exploring new places and seeing new things. He liked taking a chance by playing the lottery when he could, hoping for a good outcome. He loved all animals; he enjoyed feeding racoons and rabbits that visited him often.   

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Robinson; brothers, Tony Lowery, David Robinson, Roger Soots.

Those left to cherish and honor his memories include his daughter, Julie Baldwin and husband, Justin, along with his grandson, Eoin of Maryland, son, Micheal Mingus of Ohio; sisters, Phyllis Foles, Marie Roseman, Debra Call; brothers, Wesley Robinson, Clifford Robinson, Ronald Robinson; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will conduct a private Celebrations of Life service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Larry’s memory.
