Lisa Dawn (Minton) Reed

Mrs. Lisa Dawn Minton Reed,58, of Moravian falls passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at her home. 

Lisa was born on October 5, 1966 in Wilkes County to Billy Minton and Mary Lou Tart Minton.

She loved her girls and grandchildren; she enjoyed time with them.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Lisa was a former Teacher Assistant at Moravian Falls Elementary School.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Reed; sisters, Susan Minton and Billie Lynn Seagraves. 

Lisa is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Reed of the home and Crystal Reed “Zeth” of Union Grove; sister, Pamela Thomas “Scott” of Boomer; grandchildren, Kaylynne Reed, Daylin Reed, Micheal Reed, Colbie Moore and Zeb Davidson; nieces, Brittany Johnson, Ashley Johnson; nephews, Scottie Thomas II, Olin Thomas, Williams Thomas.   

 A visitation will be held 3:00-4:45 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel, 2109 Moravian Falls Road, Moravian Falls, NC 28654.   The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel. 

Rev. Danny Royal will be officiating.
