Margaret Louise (Ozment) Combs

Mrs. Margaret “Louise” Ozment Combs, age 77, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, August 25,2020 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation – Wilkes Senior Village.

Louise was born July 18, 1943 in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Grant Ozment and Beulah Porter Ozment.

She had worked as a Cafeteria Manager at North Wilkes High School for many years.  She loved crafting and making pies.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by:  her brothers, Thomas Ozment and Roland Hicks.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her sons, Monty Combs and wife, Tammy of Ronda, Tracy Combs and wife, Lori of Tryon; sisters, Brenda Landreth of Asheboro, Colleen Kearns of California, Flora Patton and husband, Grady of Rockwell; brother, Larry Ozment and wife, Grace of Burlington; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and special friends and neighbors, Scott Ashley and Jonathan Ashley.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Louise will lie-in-state from 9:30-10:00 a.m., prior to the service.  Rev. Gregg Bauguess will officiate.
