Margaret "Sue" Orlandi

                Margaret “Sue” Orlandi, age 85, of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her home.

Sue was born February 12, 1939 in Jenners Township, PA the daughter of the late John Kuncher and Margaret Elenor Kelly Kuncher.

                She worked 28 years for Owens Illinois Glass Co. in New Jersey. She was of the Catholic faith. Her family meant everything to her. She was the rock and matriarch of her family.

                Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, David Alan Orlandi; and a grandson, David Alan Orlandi II; and 12 brothers and sisters.

                Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband of 67 years, David James Orlandi; her daughter, Debbie Dubois (Kenny) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Michelle Hall of Hickory, Ron Myers of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Angel Myers, Destiny Queen, Taylor Hall, Dylan Nall, Kaleb Myers; her great-great grandchildren, Emory Ballentine, and Hadley Ballentine.

                No services are planned at this time.

                In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charlotte Rollin’ Hornets Organization, 2634 Bellasera Way, Matthews NC 28105 where her great grandson plays wheelchair basketball.
