Maria Del Carmen Gomez

Maria Del Carmen Gomez, age 67, of Stony Point, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her residence.

She was born June 28, 1954 in El Salvador, San Miguel, the daughter of the late Francisco Antonio Benavides and Maria Isabel Gomez.

Maria was of the catholic faith.  Maria was the rock of the family. She was a loving mother and grandmother that kept the family together.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, David Moises Guevara.

Left to cherish and honor her memory include: her daughters, Kristina Alizeth Favela, Yesenia Jacqueline Gomez, Zulma Aracely Gomez, Mariela Jasmine Gomez; her sons, Juan Migel Gomez, Roberto Carlos Gomez, Jose Wilfredo Gomez; her sisters, Lorena Gomez, Edis Celicia Portillo, Graciela Jiron, and Isabel Gomez Torres. She leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren that she loved so deeply.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:30am until 1:30 pm at Adams Funeral Home. A  Catholic Mass will be held at 2 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Father Camilo will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hiddenite Cemetery.
