Ms. Marie “Sue” Hughes, 72, of Wilkesboro passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at her home.
Sue was born on June 10, 1952 in Russell, County Virginia to William “Bill” Hughes and Gussie Clark Hughes.
Her favorite pass times were shopping and coloring. Sue loved to spend time with her family.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, and 5 brothers and sisters.
Sue is survived by her companion, of 40 years, Michael Cohn; sisters, Margaret Hughes, Nancy Hughes; brother, Roger Hughes; niece, Casey West of Taylorsville; great nephew and niece, Jayden West and Kayleigh West of Taylorsville and many other beloved family and friends.
