Martha (Miller) Mecimore

Mrs. Martha Miller Mecimore, 65, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Martha was born on July 28, 1956 in Alexander County to the late Wade Miller and Glennie St.Clair Miller

Martha was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in which she made many baby blankets and Afghans. She lived her life putting others before herself, which included her grandchildren who were her world.

Along with her parents Martha is preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Bentley and Ruth St.Clair.      

Martha is survived by her husband of 47 years, Conley Mecimore of the home; her son, Wesley Mecimore (Amanda) of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Abigail Mecimore, Abram Mecimore and Andrew Mecimore; sister, Mary Bentley (Gary) of Taylorsville; brother, Ralph Miller (Bobbie) of Taylorsville; brother-in-law, Ray Bentley; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 1798 Buffalo Shoals Rd., Statesville, N.C. 28677. Elder Mitch Broadway will be officiating. Mrs. Mecimore will lie-in-state, Sunday, January 23, from 1p.m. until 4p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
