Mrs. Martha Irene Howell Trivette, 90, of Ronda, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Martha was born on June 13, 1929 in Ashe County to George Franklin Howell and Virginia Caroline Lewis Howell.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Freeman Trivette; son, James Russell Trivette; brothers, George Howell, Bill Howell, Walter Howell, Joe Howell; sisters, Lessie White, Mary Holman, Ellamae Walker, Ruby Howell; grandson, Robert Shumate; great grandchildren, Cassidy Stewart and Alexis Stewart.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Belinda Shumate of the home; brother, John Howell of Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Wanda Stewart ( Jerry) of Wilkesboro, Alyssa Wilkins (Tiffany) of Elkin, Matthew Shumate of Ronda, Lillian Greer of Wilkesboro and 6 great grand children.
