Ms. Mary Louise Reed Swinning Szekely, 95, of North Wilkesboro passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center.

Mary was born on April 5, 1928 in Ashtabula County, Ohio to Carl Lee Reed and Lucille Necia Bliss Reed.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald “Donnie” Swinning; brothers, James Reed, Edgar Reed, Charles “Fred” Reed; sister, Evelyn Reed, Annabelle Carrick.

Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Van Hoose, Albert Van Hoose.
