Mary "Bobbi" Miller Carson

            Mary “Bobbi” Miller Carson, age 86, formerly of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at her home in Greensboro.

            She was born July 17, 1936 in Iredell County, the daughter of the late Plato E. Carson and Mary Hazel Miller Carson.

            Bobbi was a graduate of Taylorsville High School, Woman’s College, The University of North Carolina, Pennsylvania State University and was a doctoral student of Boston College. She was an Associate Director of Athletics at Boston College until her retirement at which time she moved to Greensboro, NC. During her career, Bobbi traveled extensively. She participated in many professional activities, organizations, and appointments. She dedicated her life’s work to education.

            She is survived by several cousins.

            A private graveside service will be held.
