Michael Lynn Teague

            Michael Lynn Teague, age 65, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

            Michael was born September 2, 1955 in Alexander County, the son of Mary Barnes Teague of Taylorsville and the late Lloyd Claude Teague.

            He was a very caring and loving man and helped everyone he could. He also enjoyed spending his time fishing and listening to music. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and will be buried there beside his father.

            Including his father, he was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Laura Jean Little Teague; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Cora Barnes.

            Including his mother, those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his daughter, Brandy Beck (Justin) of Taylorsville; his son, Shannon Teague of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Rhiannon, Makayla, Annabelle; his sister, Joni Barrie (John) of Lenoir; his best friend, Destry Bolick of Taylorsville.

            A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Jolly will officiate. In case of rain the service will be at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
