Mildred Ruppe Bebber, age 91, of Taylorsville, was carried away by angels to her heavenly home on Friday, October 18, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 13, 1933 in Rutherford County, the daughter of the late Joseph Ruppe and Ida Greene Ruppe.
She was the credit manager for Carolina Tire for over 30 years. She was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Mildred loved to bake and enjoyed canning and freezing vegetables from her garden. She was funny and loved to laugh. One of her favorite past times was chatting on the phone with her closest friends. She was an immaculate house keeper, as well as an avid collector of elephants. But most of all she loved her family.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her sisters, Martha Hardin, Doris Gantt; brother, Earl Ruppe.
Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her husband of almost 70 years, Vance Carl “Jack” Bebber; her daughters, Donna Bebber (special friend, Mike Devine) of Springfield, VA, Trish Dagenhart (Lynn) of Hiddenite; grandchildren, Kylie Coonse of Taylorsville, Scarlet Harrington of Taylorsville; sister, Sybil Hollifield of Shelby, NC; great-grand dogs Carson and Roxy; caregivers, Shelby Hubbard, Laura Tedder and the Medi Home Hospice staff who all provided excellent care.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at Three Forks Baptist Church. Dr. Carson Moseley, Pastor Jarvis Saner, and Pastor Timothy Sipe will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Bebber, Mark Bebber, Justin Fortner, Stacy Harrington, Duane Hollifield and Dennis James.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home.
