Mildred Bebber Meadlock, age 99, of Taylorsville, passed away on December 9, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House.
Mildred was born on September 11, 1925, in Alexander County to the late Early Little Bebber and Carrie Thomas Bebber.
Mildred graduated from Taylorsville High School. In her earlier years she had worked at Peoples Drug Store, Schneider Mills, and was later a homemaker and caretaker. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Herman Baptist Church, where she was a member of the adult Sunday School class. She loved her church and church family. She also loved her immediate family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ralph Willard Meadlock; five sisters, Blanche Canup, Cecil Canup, Hazel Watts, Inez Johnson, Elsie Bebber; four brothers; Charlie Bebber, Ned Bebber, Lindsay Bebber, and John Bebber.
She leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caretakers: Tammy Kerley, Anita Smith, Karen Lackey, JoAnn Loudermilk, and Shelby Hubbard.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2024 in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Paul Schronce and Reverend Dwight Austin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
