Nancy Marie (Minton) Glass

Nancy Marie Minton Glass, 76, of Wilkesboro passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Woltz Hospice House in Dobson. 

Nancy was born on September 8, 1946 in Caldwell County to David Harley Minton and Edna Lucille Allen Minton.

She enjoyed reading, crafting, flower arranging and gardening.  She also enjoyed her time with her two dogs Heidi and Copper.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, William “Pete” Glass; sisters, Barbara Spann, Linda Butts and brother, James “Jimmy” Minton. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Billie Glass Smithey and husband, Anthony of Wilkesboro; grandchild, Megan Roberts and husband, Jeremy of North Wilkesboro; great grandchild, Ivory Roberts of North Wilkesboro and brothers, David "Warner" Minton and wife, Barbara of Moravian Falls, Jerry Minton and wife, Debbie of Millers Creek. 

 A visitation will be held at 1:00-1:45 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls.  The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel in Moravian Falls.  Burial will follow in the Moravian Falls Community Cemetery. 

Pastor Joe Farmer, Rev. Richard Blevins will be officiating.
