Nolan Jarvis

            Mr. Nolan Jarvis, age 66, of Old Mountain Village, Hiddenite, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence.

            Nolan was born June 10, 1953 he was the son of the late Ward Kehlyn Jarvis and Anna Lee Swaim Jarvis.

            He had worked as a paramedic and was the former director of the EMS for Alexander County. He loved to share stories and reading science fiction. He enjoyed watching professional football and was interested in learning new things.

            Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Leah Daugherty Jarvis.

            Those family members left to cherish and honor his memory include: a daughter, Alisha Navarro and husband, Bob, of Indian Trail; a son, Jay Jarvis and wife, Michelle, of Elkin; a step-son, David Royal and wife, Lisa, of State Road; grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian Navarro, Kehlyn and Brie Jarvis.

            The family will have a private service.
