Patrick Ryan Lackey

            Patrick Ryan Lackey, age 39, of Blowing Rock, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center.

            Patrick was born May 9, 1982 in Iredell County, the son of Tony Edwin Lackey and Lisa Rector Lackey.

            He worked at Lackey Plumbing in Taylorsville and was of the Christian faith. He loved his children and was an amazing husband, father and a wonderful son. He loved music, Martial Arts and collecting knives. He was a hard worker.

            He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparent, M. A. Lackey and his maternal grandparents, Pete and Lee Rector.

            Including his parents, those left to cherish and honor his memories include: his wife, Patricia Stafford Lackey of the home; his daughter, Ada Rosa Lackey of the home; his son, Gatlin Raul Lackey of the home; his brother, Christopher Brian Lackey (Ann) of Alexander County; his paternal grandparent, Mary Mason Lackey; a special uncle, Michael Rector; his uncles, Rick Rector (Debbie), Charles Sherrill (Brenda), Ronnie Lackey; and a number of cousins and friends.

             The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Chuck Hager will officiate.

            The body will lie-in-state from 1-5 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home.
