Obituary
Mrs. Patsy Ann Childress Mitchell Hudspeth, 73, of Yadkinville, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville.
Patsy was born on November 01, 1948 in Wilkes County to the late C.R. Johnson and Bernice Childress Byers.
Patsy loved her children and grandchildren.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Christopher Todd Mitchell, David Landon Mitchell and brother, Richard “Dicky” Childress.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Charles Hudspeth of the home; son, Sammy Mitchell and wife, Jennifer; daughter-in-law, Karen Mitchell, all of Boomer; step-son, Johnny Hudspeth, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family will conduct a celebration of life on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Moravian Falls, 292 Mt. Carmel Rd Moravian Falls, NC 28654. The family will receive friends at 12 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Dean Adams and Rev. Mike Hamby will be officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of SECU Mt. Valley Hospice Home and Forsyth Hospital for the care and support.
In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be given to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1746 Kite Road Millers Creek, NC 28651
