Peggy Lois Shook

            Peggy S. Shook, age 69, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

            Peggy was born July 31, 1954 in Catawba County, the daughter of the late Ross Jensis Shook and Willie Mae Shook.

            She worked in the furniture industry most of her working career and was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church in Taylorsville. She enjoyed feeding and watching her birds. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Hardin Shook, Sr.; her sisters, Shirley Schronce, Patsy Jolly and her brother, Glen Shook.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memories include: her daughter, Amy Wood of Taylorsville; her son, Charles Harden Shook, Jr. (Tracy) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Tyler Shook (Beky), Casey Shook (Ceshia) all of Taylorsville, Mariah Brown (Trevor) of Raeford, NC; her great-grandchildren, Colson Shook, Tyler Shook Jr., Audrey Shook; her sister, Alice Hinceman of Supply, NC.
