Rebekah Donna York

            Rebekah Donna York, age 62, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at her home.

            Rebekah was born December 8, 1963, in Iredell County, the daughter of the late Robert Curtis York and Ethel Call York.

Rebekah proudly served in the United States Army and enjoyed helping others in need.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish and honor Rebekah’s memories include: her children, Ricky Lee Gadbois (Victoria), T.J. Brinkman, Mark Brinkman, Jamie Faw, Stormy Faw; her sisters, Angela York Vanzandt (Aaron) of Iron Station, NC, Sandra Lambert of Millers Creek; her aunt who was like her mom that raised her, Helen Speaks; her ex-husband and best friend, Mickey Daniels; number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

A Graveside Service will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Lewis Baptist Church, 2185 Old Salisbury Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 with military honors.
