Remedios "Meme" Arroyo-Beltran

            Remedios “Meme” Arroyo-Beltran, age 51, of Statesville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home.

            He was born October 1, 1973, in Guerrero, Mexico, the son of the late Severo Arroyo and Sofia Beltran.

            He worked in the construction industry and also was a landscaper. He was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church in Statesville. He enjoyed working in the garden with his wife and enjoyed evenings with the family making jokes. He also loved home cook meals.

            Those left to cherish and honor Remedios’s memories include: his wife, Micaela Benitez of the home; his daughters, Cecilia Arroyo Benitez, Patrisia Arroyo Benitez both of Statesville; his son, David Arroyo Benitez of Statesville; his grandchild, Lorenzo Clark; nine brothers, and two sisters.

            The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025, at St. Phillips Catholic Church. Father Bernard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oakwoods Cemetery in Statesville.

Remedios "Meme" Arroyo-Beltran, de 51 años, de Statesville, falleció el lunes 30 de junio de 2025, en su hogar. Nació el 1 de octubre de 1973, en Guerrero, México, hijo del difunto Severo Arroyo y Sofía Beltrán.

Trabajó en la industria de la construcción y también fue jardinero. Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica de San Felipe en Statesville. Disfrutaba trabajar en el jardín con su esposa y disfrutar de las noches en familia haciendo chistes. También amaba las comidas caseras.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a la 1 p.m., el jueves 3 de julio de 2025, en la iglesia católica de San Felipe. El Padre Bernardo oficiará. La sepultura seguirá en el cementerio de Oakwoods en Statesville.
