Obituary
Sherry Elaine Gambill Knight, 59, of Millers Creek passed away at her home on Wednesday April, 20, 2023.
Sherry was born on February 9, 1964 in Avery County to late Shirley June Gambill Lipford and late step-father, Dale Lipford.
She enjoyed many activities such as crochet, coloring, fishing, hiking, and watching the Golden Girls.
Sherry was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Gambill.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 27 years, Lee Knight; sons, Jason Heaton, Daniel Heaton, both of Mountain City, Tennessee, Dakota Knight, Jarrett Knight, both of Millers Creek; special family members, Becky Morefield, Sherrie Mahala, both of Tennessee; special friends, Linda Philemon of Creston, NC, Natalie Ferko of Millers Creek.
The family would like to say thank you to the hospice team at Gentiva for all their care and support.
A graveside service will take place in Tennessee at a later date.
