Shirley Ann (Smith) Herman

            Shirley Ann Smith Herman, age 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

            Shirley was born November 13, 1946 in Oconee, SC, the daughter of the late Fred Clifford Smith and Bessie Metcalf Smith.

            She was a self-employed hair dresser and attended Little River Baptist Church. She loved to paint, crochet and make quilts. She was an animal lover and was defiantly a lady of many talents.

            Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, William Wayne Herman, Sr.

            Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her daughters, Wendy Michelle Herman, Sherry Angela Herman both of Taylorsville; her son, William Wayne Herman, Jr. (Sonia) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, William Tyler Herman, Savanna Lynn Herman both of Taylorsville; her fur-friend, Molly.

            A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

            The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
