Mr. Steven Franklin Clanton, Sr., 67 of Wilkesboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his home.
Steven was born on February 21, 1953 in Iredell County to John William Clanton and Maude Elizabeth Treadway Clanton Ashley.
Steven is preceded in death by parents; wife, Lula Diane Bentley Clanton; eight brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Hailey Clanton, Dalton Hall, David Griffith Jr.
Steven is survived by his daughters, Louevea Brown (Stacy) of Wilkesboro, Karen Church (Ronnie) of Millers Creek; sons, Terry Cox (Christina) of North Wilkesboro, Steven Clanton, Jr. of Taylorsville; sister, Viney Elder of Columbus; brother, Escar Clanton of Taylorsville; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family will conduct a service at a later date.
